Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the website operated by Frontend Masters Cyprus ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Course Registration and Payment

1.1 Course Registration

By registering for a course offered by Frontend Masters Cyprus, you are entering into a contract for educational services. Registration is completed upon confirmation of payment receipt.

1.2 Payment Terms

All course fees must be paid in accordance with the payment schedule provided at registration. Access to course materials and sessions may be restricted until payment is received.

1.3 Refund Policy

Requests for refunds must be made in writing:

  • More than 14 days before course start date: Full refund minus administrative fee
  • 7-14 days before course start date: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before course start date: No refund
  • After course has begun: No refund

Special circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

2. Course Participation

2.1 Attendance

Regular attendance is expected for all registered courses. While we understand that scheduling conflicts may arise, we are not obligated to provide makeup sessions for missed classes.

2.2 Code of Conduct

All participants must adhere to our Code of Conduct, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Treating all staff and fellow students with respect
  • Refraining from disruptive behavior during sessions
  • Not engaging in harassment, discrimination, or intimidation
  • Not recording sessions without explicit permission

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in removal from the course without refund.

2.3 Course Materials

All course materials provided to you, including but not limited to presentations, exercises, examples, and documentation, are for your personal use only. You may not share, distribute, or publish these materials without our written consent.

3. Course Changes and Cancellations

3.1 Schedule Changes

Frontend Masters Cyprus reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the course schedule, including dates, times, and instructors. We will provide notification of any changes as soon as possible.

3.2 Course Cancellations

In the event that Frontend Masters Cyprus must cancel a course, enrolled students will be offered the option to:

  • Transfer to an equivalent future course
  • Receive a full refund
  • Apply the payment toward a different course

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the courses and course materials belong to Frontend Masters Cyprus or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms shall transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

4.2 Usage Rights

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the course materials for your personal educational purposes only. Any other use requires our prior written consent.

4.3 Student Work

You retain ownership of the work you create during the course. However, by submitting any work for course assignments or projects, you grant Frontend Masters Cyprus a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your work for educational and promotional purposes.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Frontend Masters Cyprus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the courses or course materials
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the courses
  • Any technical failures or interruptions in the delivery of the courses

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
